MPD and Injury Breakdown: - Every dog is allotted a MPD (miles per day) amount, not to exceed 10, based on their breed, strengths, team positions and any add-ons they have.
- Any team positions that aren't filled will get an automatic 5 MPD until a character fills the position
- The entire team's MPD will be calculated by adding up all of the individual MPDs of the team members. This will determine how far the team goes a day and will be recalculated every day (to account for any injuries and/or set backs encountered)
- Injuries will be determined every other day by a random generator. Each injury will have a 'handicap' assigned to it (i.e. "Comanche suffered from a major sprain, there will be a 5 mile handicap given each day for 5 days") and that amount will deduct from that character's MPD
- You may receive Pawprint Shop items from another player to help with injuries.
- Pawprint injury recovery items to not stack
- There will also be "Setbacks" that are randomly generated as well and will effect the whole team regardless of injuries and or prevention PP items (i.e.
Team Zirkle has been caught in a blizzard with white out conditions, this will slow down the team considerably, 2 mile handicap for the whole team") - There will never be a random event that increases the MPD for each dog as their MPD is an absolute maximum number of miles that can be traveled by the character so essentially going over that MPD will lead to exhaustion and/or death
- You may not give your MPD to another team member nor can a team member take any of your MPD
- If one of your team mates dies then their MPD goes with them, there will not be an 'auto MPD' like with vacant positions

Total MPD: 73 (-2)= 71 MPD

How it Works: NPC Events
- There are 'good' and 'bad' NPCs. To make things easier only the human and canine NPCs will have names, all others will be given descriptive names (i.e. Grazing Moose, Crying Bear Cub, Angry Reindeer).
- The only 'good' NPCs are Mikhail and Arty (and by association Boris and Natasha), consider them your guardian angels on this journey. They have the ability to help you out of any predicament you might find yourself in by the 'bad' NPCs and random events.
- The way to determine if you will get aid from Mike and Arty is to roll the dice. If it is a single character NPC event (meaning the outcome affects one member of the team) then that person must roll the VDice (located at the end of the tool bar) to see if they will come to the rescue. If it is a multiple character NPC event then the affected characters must roll to see if they will receive help.
- Single Character NPC Events (will be referred to as "SC NPC" from here on) will go on an even/odd scale (i.e. "You must roll an even number to receive aid from Mike"), whether the accepted number is even or odd will differ each event.
- Multiple Character NPC Events (will be referred to as MC NPC" from here on) will go on a numerical scale. (i.e. "You must roll a combined value greater than 18)

How it Works: Timeline - Each day in the role-play equals two real life days.
- Roleplay days will be split into Day and Night, please make sure your posts coincide with the timeline (though there is a bit of leeway here)
- This means that MPD will be calculated at the end of the second real life day (i.e. at night)
- Injures are based on role-play days as well (meaning if you have an injury that goes away in one role-play day that means it will go away in two real life days)
- I will update the 'Agenda' Section with the timeline.
- It usually takes about 12 days for teams to finish the Iditarod (considering al goes well) so that would be 24 real life days. That will probably be the longest race the teams will do all other races will take between 7-15 real life days (3-8 role-play days).
