Ceremonial Start The pomp and circumstance part of the race. Mostly just for show, people line up to cheer on the teams as the start their journey. It's an 11 mile sprint to the next checkpoint. |

Restart Actual beginning of the race, less crowds. Known as moose alley as the high population of moose make it a bit difficult to maneuver |
